HOBAMA IS GUNNING

FOR ASSATA SHAKUR!!!!!!!

"I am a Black revolutionary woman, and because of this I have been charged with and accused of every alleged crime in which a woman was believed to have participated. The alleged crimes in which only men were supposedly involved; I have been accused of planning. They have plastered pictures alleged to be me in post offices, airports, hotels, police cars, subways, banks, television, and newspapers. They have offered over fifty thousand dollars in rewards for my capture and they have issued orders to shoot on sight and shoot to kill.
I was sentenced to life plus 30 years by an all-White jury. What I saw in prison was wall-to-wall Black flesh in chains. Women caged in cells. But we're the terrorists. It just doesn't make sense.
I was like Houdini, I plotted day and night. There was no way I was going to spend the rest of my life in prison for something I didn't do.
How dare they call us terrorists when we were being terrorized? Terror was a constant part of my life....We lived under police terror.
They call us bandits, yet every time most Black people pick up our paychecks, we are being robbed. Every time we walk into a store in our neighborhood, we are being held up. And every time we pay our rent, the landlord sticks a gun into our ribs. No movement can survive unless it is constantly growing and changing with the times. If it isn't growing, it's stagnant, and without the support of the people, no movement for liberation can exist, no matter how correct its analysis of the situation is.
The first thing the enemy tries to do is isolate revolutionaries from the masses of people, making us horrible and hideous monsters so that our people will hate us
Only a fool lets somebody else tell him who his enemy is....never let your enemies choose your enemies for you.
A woman’s place is in the struggle.
Sisters Black people will never be free unless Black women participate in every aspect of the struggle.

Our desire to be free has got to manifest itself in everything we are and do.

When you go through all your life processing and abusing your hair so it will look like the hair of another race of people then you are making a statement and the statement is clear.

I must confess that waltzes do not move me. I have no sympathy for symphonies. I guess i hummed the Blues too early, and spent too many midnights out wailing to the rain.
Although we live in one of the richest, most technologically advanced countries in the world, our reality is similar to an underdeveloped Third World country. We are a people who are truly seeking freedom and harmony.

I have declared war on the rich who prosper on our poverty, the politicians who lie to us with smiling faces and all the mindless, heartless robots who protect them and their property. I am a Black revolutionary, and, as such, I am a victim of all the wrath, hatred and slander that Amerika is capable of.

Peace is a rare gift. Peace of mind, peaceful sleeps, and peaceful spirits are all luxuries that few rebels can ever afford.
Like all other Black revolutionaries, Amerika is trying to lynch me.”

People get used to anything. The less you think about your oppression, the more your tolerance for it grows. After a while, people just think oppression is the normal state of things. But to become free, you have to be acutely aware of being a slave.

No one is going to give you the education you need to overthrow them. Nobody is going to teach you your true history, teach you your true heroes, if they know that that knowledge will help set you free.
Before going back to college, I knew I didn't want to be an intellectual, spending my life in books and libraries without knowing what the hell is going on in the streets. Theory without practice is just as incomplete as practice without theory. The two have to go together.”
ASSATA SHAKUR
ASSATA: AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Assata Shakur could not have been named “most wanted terrorist” without the explicit approval of the first black president and his attorney general. In doing so, they have declared open war on the black liberation movement, something that J. Edgar Hoover and COINTELPRO were only able to do in secret.
Whoever imagines our first black president and his first black attorney general had little or nothing to do with naming Assata Shakur its “most wanted terrorist” list is deep in denial and delusion. “Terrorist,” as my colleague Glen Ford points out, has never been anything but a political label, applied by the authorities for their own political purposes. The international legal angle as well, with Assata Shakur receiving political asylum from the Cuban government the last 30 years, also makes her placement on that list something that Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama absolutely had to carefully consider and approve..

President Obama obviously hopes the label “terrorist” will scare present and future activists from learning what there is to know from the proud traditions of African American and other resistance to empire. He hopes to intimidate and frighten ordinary people, especially young people, into the same kind of conformity as their supposed 'leaders.'

Back in 2007 and 2008, candidate Barack Obama confided to editorial boards and others a number of times that Ronald Reagan was his favorite president. We should have listened to him a lot more closely. It's a safe guess now, that J. Edgar Hoover is his favorite cop.”
BRUCE A. DIXON
BLACK AGENDA REPORT

I was born in 1963 in Chicago, Illinois. I was 5 years old when the Original Black Panther Party (OBPP) was founded by Bobby Seale, Huey Newton, and their kindred and beautiful black revolutionary warriors in Oakland, California. But, the spiritual connection that I feel to the OBPP is ageless and eternal...

I am 49 now. And, I still adore and revere the OBPP. They are all still my heroes. Assata Shakur, is the greatest OBPP shero of all. From her locks to her legends, Assata epitomizes all of the Black Superwomen who inspire my deepest spiritual identities and rebel dreams.
Assata escaped the slaughters and captures that doomed her OBPP peers. She outwitted the ruthless FBI Counter Intelligence Program's {COINTELPRO} wolves in Amerikkka and internationally. They are the same wolves that framed and caged Geronimo (Pratt) Ji Jaga and Mumia Abu Jamal. They are the same wolves who assassinated Fred Hampton, Martin Luther King, and Malcolm X/El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz. COINTELPRO created hundreds of black corpses. Assata defied the killers of all of her OBPP peers, with her sheroic fleeing from J. Edgar Hoover's rabid global fangs.

Assata is a rebel Queen who has quietly lived in exile in Cuba. Today, Assata is a 75 year old grandmother. But, this will not be a happy Mothers' Day for Assata. That blackish global warlord bankster Hobama/ “President” Barack Husein Obama has marked Assata for expedient murder.
Like Mumia, Assata has been framed as a cop killer. Unlike Mumia, Assata escaped from her federally crafted cage. She has survived the fascist wolves who mauled her, before she found sanctuary in Cuba. Hobama is the new sheep clad lead wolf. Hobama has unleashed his new and fatal NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) swagger as he and his gobal hit men now hunt and haunt Assata anew.

Truth is far stranger and more deadly than fiction. How horridly ironic it is that two blackish men, Hobama and Eric Holder, have conspired to slay a black female sheroe like Assata. This is simply more irrefutable proof that Hobama's regime is the most efficiently racist ever. Assata has survived several white presidents and FBI directors. Yet, she may not survive the blackish bankster Hobama...

The brave, gifted, brilliant. and heroic Chicagoan, superstar conscious rapper Lupe Fiasco, has never lied about Hobama. Hobama has just proven that he is the world's worst global terrorist indeed. No terroristic deed is more evil than Hobama's latest call for Assata's international execution. It is far more than a cowardly move to test a post-Castro Cuba. It is far deeper than mere spin control to mask Hobama's typically blatant and pathological lies, about the illegal Cuban vacation clearance that he gave to Jay-Z, his warlock pal.

Most apolitical racist fools are still blinded by half of Hobama's skin. Those who see Hobama's deeds know that Hobama is an evil bankster, a soulless corporatist, an endless global warmonger, and the most rabidly racist president ever. Hobama has shown us who he was since 2006. Yet, he has fooled most of his blind deaf fans twice.

Hobama has always expertly evaded any black agenda. He brags about being the president of everyone who is Hispanic, gay, and female. But, he brags most orgasmically about NOT being president of the poor/blacks.
Hobama flaunts his adoration of white male global banksters. He flagrantly celebrates his exclusive loyalty to the white male Wall Street criminals, who comprise and control his entire apartheid regime. Hobama proudly wallows in his bloody obsession with global and domestic drones. Hobama drools at the Mainstream Media (MSM) that coddle and cheer him through serial illegal wars, AFRICOM, CISPA, unprecedented prison funding, martial law, unconstitutional gun grabs, FEMA camps, DHS ammunition stockpiling, and numerous other maniacal antics.

It is a sinful and suicidal saga of escalating wickedness that is literally slaying us all. Each day Hobama proves that he is the new Hoover/Hitler/GWB/Nixon. Hobama is a bona fide third generation CIA agent. Being a supertb actor is a prerequisite for that post. The Manchurian Messiah will now expertly play George Zimmerman to Assata's Trayvon Martin: “How dare Assata walk freely in Cuba, She will not get away!”
Hobama has sent a message to all dissidents. He has painted on the pending corpse of Assata. It will read:. "This is what awaits any black mongrel anywhere, who slanders/libels my global swagger! Yes we can change your rebel ways via NDAA!”

Revamped COINTELPRO trumps replayed coon swag. Illuminati games trump international sanctuary. And, most importantly, karma trumps all evil. There has never been a presidential puppet more evil than that bankster Hobama. His pending international murder of elder black shero Assata Shakur proves that best.

SHAME ON THE SUICIDAL SLEEPING SHEEPLE!
POWER TO THE REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE!

May God bless and keep you alive and safe Sista Assata...
The rabid dogs who chased you to Cuba, have Hobama as a new and lethal lead dog in DC!

.

Please read more rebel wisdom about the terrorized Assata Shakur:

Thanks to The First Black President and The First Black Attorney General, “the only people safe in speaking of or contacting Shakur are those who mean her harm.” To speak of Black liberation, its heroes and history, is a crime of terror. “Barack Obama has made manifest his predecessor’s desire to create a truly fascist machinery in this country.”

Because of Barack Obama, Assata Shakur now faces the possibility of being kidnapped or murdered by the United States government. She may be held indefinitely without being charged or tried. Not only is she in danger, but because of Obama anyone who does as little as publicly defend her may potentially face the same fate.

The only people safe in speaking of or contacting Shakur are those who mean her harm, and a bounty of $2 million will increase the number of persons who fall into that category. Not only is it important to resist the government and defend Shakur but also to name the villain in this story and that person is none other than Barack Obama.

One cannot be separated from the other. It is sad to see the continued effort to excuse Obama’s crimes and let him off the hook on so many occasions, but in the case of Assata Shakur the disingenuousness is particularly dangerous. Barack Obama has made manifest his predecessor’s desire to create a truly fascist machinery in this country. He resurrected the all but dead espionage act to prosecute whistle blowers and at a rate unknown under previous administrations. George W. Bush claimed the right to imprison anyone he wanted but Obama claims the right to kill anyone he wants.

Assata Shakur could well end up dead at Obama’s hands like Anwar al-Awlakki and his sixteen year old son. Cuba may be attacked on the pretext of capturing Shakur. No president since John F. Kennedy has attempted an actual military assault on Cuban soil. Obama is known for his ability to go where other presidents have dared not. He killed Gaddafi and overthrew the Libyan government. Why wouldn’t he try the same with Cuba?

The significance of the renewed attack on Assata Shakur is not just of international significance. Obama is making a point about black America and those few who still dare to speak out against their nation’s domestic and international policy. Immediately after announcing the increased bounty and terrorist designation the FBI posted billboard sized wanted posters in Newark, New Jersey.

It seems a strange thing to do when Shakur is living thousands of miles away in Cuba. Of course the billboards are not meant to capture Shakur but to send a not so subtle message about the state of black liberation. Simply put, there won’t be any talk of black liberation. The Shakurs of the world who weren’t imprisoned, killed off by Cointelpro or bought off, have to be destroyed once and for all and any memory of them must be disappeared as well.

Assata Shakur will be used as a lesson to everyone else who didn’t get the memo. Obama’s election meant that any and all discussion of a black agenda will not only be ignored but will be consciously destroyed.”

MARGARET KIMBERLEY
BLACK AGENDA REPORT

Obama is serving notice that those who share Assata’s ideology – as understood by the FBI – are subject to eradication as well.
In doubling the bounty on former Black Liberation Army member Assata Shakur’s head, the Obama administration is announcing that Black radicals are candidates for his Kill List. The message is as unmistakable and dramatic as the billboards that have been erected in Newark, New Jersey, and elsewhere screaming for the exiled freedom fighter’s blood.

President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, the two Black men who are most responsible for making Assata Shakur the face of domestic terror in the United States, are fully conversant in the language of symbolism. They are publicly defining the Black liberation movement – or what’s left of it, or those who might attempt to revive it – as a priority domestic target for repression. Shakur, a 65-year old grandmother who has not left Cuba for the past 29 years, poses no physical danger to the American state. She represents a political threat, through her “ideology,” as brazenly stated by the FBI. The Bureau has marked Shakur for priority assassination on the basis of, in the FBI’s words, her “anti-U.S. government speeches espousing the Black Liberation Army message.” “Terrorism” is somehow inherent in the message of Black liberation. Advocacy of Black liberation, is the threat The reward of $2 million is meant to silence Assata Shakur’s political speech, and remove her as a symbol of resistance to the U.S government

The Bureau has marked Shakur for priority assassination.
For the National Security State, “terror” is a powerful word, with vast legal ramifications. The Obama administration is informing Americans and Cubans that Assata is as much fair game for assassination by drone as the late Anwar al-Awlaki. Barack Obama and Eric Holder are serving notice that those who share Assata’s ideology – as understood by the FBI – are subject to eradication as well, because it is an ideology of terror. And they are telling those who give “substantial support” to Assata that they are subject to detention by the U.S. military without trial or charge, for the duration of the war against “terror.”

It is Obama who has played the leading role in the play of U.S. imperialist repression waged around the world, a play whose final act consists of such attempts to completely wipe out any remnant of African resistance within U.S. borders.”

GLEN FORD

BLACK AGENDA REPORT
http://blackagendareport.com/

Is Assata Shakur in New Jersey? No, she is not and the FBI and the Obama administration know exactly where she is, in Cuba where she has lived since being granted political asylum by its government in 1979 after escaping from prison. This is not about Assata Shakur, it is about sending a message to the Black community and those that live within it who stand up to police violence, oppression and murder of residents, one of the very reasons for the formation of the Black Panthers. It is about the political repression of those who advocate on the behalf of the many political prisons being held by the United States government often in torturous conditions. It is about sending a message to anyone who would take up arms in defense of life, liberty and true freedom in a country that is home to the largest prison population in the world which the federal government and various corporations use as slave labor. It is about sending a message to those that would dare stand up and point out that the US government is the most violent entity on the planet and one that commits acts of terrorism against non-white people and nations on behalf of maintaining the American imperialist status-quo.

Why else would the U.S. government seek to name Assata Shakur as a domestic terrorist after all these decades? We are talking about a woman who was shot twice while attempting to give herself up to police who were co-operating with Federal authorities to target and assassinate or otherwise eliminate members of the Black Liberation movement just as they had done and admitted in a civil lawsuit to doing to Martin Luther King Jr.

The FBI and its corporate media wing fail to report the details of the sham case built against Assata Shakur after failing to win convictions on other trumped up charges. The corporate media is failing to point out that a police officer, a state witness against Assata Shakur for the murder of another police officer, has recanted his testimony and admitted to lying on the stand. Medical personnel stated that because of nerves severed by a bullet, Assata Shakur would have been physically prevented from firing a weapon and it was also stated that her wounds indicate her hands were raised when she was shot consistent with her claim that she was giving herself up.

Just as Assata Shakur has pointed out that COINTELPRO utilized and received full cooperation from the corporate media to demonize and alienate freedom fighters from the people who supported them, corporate media today is still fulfilling that role.”

SCOTTY REID
INTERNATIONALIST PRISON BOOKS COLLECTIVE

We cannot allow the media to even begin discussing Assata Shakur without putting her struggle in the context of COINTELPRO. The Counter Intelligence Program was an effort by J. Edgar Hoover’s Federal Bureau of Investigation and its associated agencies to destroy groups that dared stand against U.S. oppression.

It was under COINTELPRO that Black leadership suffered under “dirty tricks” that ranged from political assassinations (Chairman Fred Hampton) to smear campaigns which are too many to even begin to name here. Even the good Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was not immune to Hoover’s “dirty tricks.”
Could you really expect Assata Shakur to get a fair trail under such repressive policies?

According to the late civil rights attorney William Kuntsler in his book, “My Life as a Radical Lawyer”, a law enforcement agent told him that during Shakur’s trial ” a member of the New Jersey State Assembly had gone to the hotel where the jury was sequestered and talked to them about the necessity to convict.” In the book Kuntsler hints that even he underestimated the lengths that New Jersey law enforcement would go to get a conviction of Shakur.

Today, those same types of people are at it again. On April 17, New Jersey Sen. Sean King sent a letter to President Obama asking him to “delay normalizing relations with Cuba unless they agree to extradite convicted cop killer JoAnne Chesimard.

Now, do I think that Obama would sacrifice Assata Shakur on the alter of “Democracy” for political expediency? You’re darn right!”

PAUL SCOTT
POOR MAGAZINE

First, by elevating this 40-year-old case to top priority, Obama's Justice epartment is actively memorializing the struggle for black freedom of that era, but in a way that offers us a criminalized, even militarized interpretation of it. How we understand the past has bearing on our political present, and making Shakur, a symbol of black militancy of the 1960s and '70s, into a high-level national security threat serves to criminalize the greatest movement for democracy in the 20th century. What's more, fashioning this morality tale erases the central role of the FBI's COINTELPRO in her controversial case, a willed forgetting of the well-documented framings, murders, and false imprisonments aimed at the black liberation movement and others of that era, as opposed to a clear-eyed assessment of the disputed facts on the ground.

Third, further connecting the domestic and international, the placement of Assata Shakur on the FBI's Most Wanted list is a way for the Obama Administration to test the resolve of Cuba in the twilight of the Castro regime, to see how much power it can now wield there through both engagements and threats. As an AP story on the Shakur case thought it worthwhile to note, "This week, the State Department said it has no plans to remove Cuba from a list of state sponsors of terrorism that also includes Iran, Syria and Sudan." This is a move that reverberates throughout the western hemisphere given recent U.S. activity in Bolivia, Honduras, and most recently the U.S.'s refusal to recognize the electoral victory of socialist president Nicolas Maduro victory in Venezuela.

The renewed state interest in Assata Shakur is not an anachronism, nor mere score-settling from a prior conflict. It goes to the heart of a set of interrelated issues that should be of deep concern to anyone concerned with civil liberties, political freedom, U.S. empire, and the future of racial justice. We should be asking Attorney General Eric Holder why $2 million is being put up in a 40 year-old case. State Police Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes said at a news conference Thursday that the case was "an open wound" for troopers in New Jersey and around the country. Yet the FBI's full-scale assault on the social movements of the 1960s and 1970s remains an open wound for the nation itself. A truthful accounting of state repression in that era is required if we want to heal it, not making Shakur into a scapegoat.”

JOSEPH LOWNDES

"Shakur maintains she was the victim of political persecution. Her lawyer, Lennox Hinds, asserted on “Democracy Now!” that she was “targeted by the FBI” and stopped and the “allegation that she was a cold-blooded killer is not supported by any of the forensic evidence.
If we look at the trial, we’ll find that she was victimized, she was shot. She was shot in the back. The bullet exited and broke the clavicle in her shoulder. She could not raise a gun. She could not raise her hand to shoot. And she was shot while her hands were in the air. Now, that is the forensic evidence. There is not one scintilla of evidence placing a gun in her hand. No arsenic residue was found on her clothing or on her hands. So, the allegation by the state police that she took an officer’s gun and shot him, executed him in cold blood, is not only false, but it is designed to inflame.

 KEVIN GOSZTOLA

"1. The finger print analyses of every gun and every piece of ammunition found at the scene showed there were no fingerprints of Assata found on any of them. (The official analyses admitted into evidence)

 2. Neutron Activation Analysis taken immediately after Assata was  taken to the hospital that night showed there was no gun power residue on her hands. Effectively refuting the possibility that she had fired a gun. (The official analyses were admitted into evidence)

5. A surgeon testified that “it was anatomically necessary that both arms be in the air for Ms. Chesimard to have received the wounds she did.”

HANDS OFF ASSATA CAMPAIGN

"LENOX HINDS:

It is in that context we need to look at what happened on the New Jersey Turnpike in 1973. What they call Joanne Chesimard, what we know as Assata Shakur, she was targeted by the FBI, stopped. And the allegation that she was a cold-blooded killer is not supported by any of the forensic evidence. If we look at the trial, we'll find that she was victimized, she was shot. So, the allegation by the state police that she took an officer's gun and shot him, executed him in cold blood, is not only false, but it is designed to inflame.
She was near death. She was chained to her hospital bed. After she recovered, she was placed in an all-male prison. She was under 24-hour surveillance by male prison guards who were watching and monitoring her very personal needs during that time period. We went into federal court and challenged the conditions of her confinement, where she was kept in solitary confinement for two years. We won that case. And they—that is, the Middlesex County Correctional Department were forced to place her in a women's facility. But that was a horrible situation amounting to torture.
Now, why today is Assata Shakur now being branded a terrorist? If we look at the definition of terrorism, what is it? It is the use or the threat of use of force against a civilian population to achieve political ends. What happened in the case of Assata Shakur? You have heard, in her own words, this woman was a political activist. She was targeted by whom? J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI in a program that was called COINTELPRO. That program was unveiled by whom? Frank Church, Senator Frank Church, in the 1970s. He chaired the Senate Intelligence Committee. That committee determined that the FBI was using both legal, but mostly illegal, methods—to do what? In the FBI's own words, they wanted to discredit, to stop the rise of a black messiah—that was the fear of the FBI—so that there would not be a Mau Mau, in their words, uprising in the United States. And they were, of course, referring to the liberation movement that occurred in Kenya, Africa. Now, the FBI carried out a campaign targeting not only the Black Panther Party. They targeted SCLC. They targeted Martin Luther King. They targeted Harry Belafonte. They targeted Eartha Kitt. They targeted anyone who supported the struggle for civil rights
that they considered to be dangerous.

LENOX HINES = ASSATA'S LAWYER
TRUTHOUT

"[Joanne] Chesimard, better known as Assata Shakur, was a member of the Black Panther Party and Black Liberation Army when, on May 2, 1973, she was driving through New Jersey with two others. The car was pulled over for a broken taillight and a gunfight ensued with police. One officer and one man from Shakur’s group were killed.

Despite being injured, she managed to flee from the scene but was eventually arrested and, in 1977, convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. But in 1979, The New York Times reported, she “escaped from Clinton Correctional Institute for Women after three male visitors drew handguns, kidnapped two guards and seized a prison minibus in order to drive out of the grounds to two getaway cars. They left the guards handcuffed but unharmed.

It’s been widely speculated that Shakur was aided in her escape by the Black Liberation Army. William Kunstler, her trial lawyer, told reporters at the time that Shakur’s health had declined in prison.
I was very happy that she escaped because I thought she was unfairly tried,” he said, as quoted by the Gothamist.
Her surviving accomplice, Sundiata Acoli, born Clark Edward Squire, is still held in a federal prison after being denied parole several times.
In 1984 Shakur was granted asylum by Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who called the charges against her “an infamous lie.” Originally from the Queens section of New York City, Shakur explained her situation on her website.

My name is Assata (“she who struggles”) Olugbala (“for the people”) Shakur (“the thankful one”), and I am a 20th Century escaped slave,” she wrote. “Because of government persecution, I was left with no other choice than to flee from the political repression, racism and violence that dominate the US government’s policy towards people of color. I am an ex political prisoner, and I have been living in exile in Cuba since 1984. I have been a political activist most of my life, and although the US government has done everything in its power to criminalize me, I am not a criminal, nor have I ever been one.”

She went on to admit involvement with the Black Panther Party and described the FBI’s intention to “destroy it and its leaders and activists.”
